The new theme is finally here :)
Written by Tom Ackermann on September 3rd, 2008 | 5 Comments »After studying the whole afternoon, I spent yesterday evening working on the new theme for this blog. Eventually I got it into a state where I decided to upload it and show it to the world. So today is the big day
I think this new theme looks a lot better than the old one, but that’s my opinion - I’m curious to learn what you think about it!
Please write a comment and tell me your opinion - this helps me to further improve this design. Maybe you could tell me something about your first impression of this layout. Or how does it feel to navigate? How’s the readability? Easy to read or not? Would you change something? Your help is greatly appreciated and I would gladly return the favor ![]()

Hi Tom, I think your blog looks pretty cool

But since you ask for it: The links on the right are a bit too close to each other, I would give them some more space

Thanks for your feedback Mark, I just increased the vertical spacing. Hope it looks better now

Hi Tom,
I think you have a great design. It is clean and pleasing to the eye.
If I were to add any criticism at all after looking at it is that my eye searched down before I saw your banner. Maybe it was the red that matched the red in the sidebar…dunno. It is very well done.
Hang in there. Thanks,
Scott

Hi Scott,
Thanks for the compliment
I’m not sure what you mean with that banner - is the red too intrusive? Or did you focus on the title of the first post instead?
Thanks for your support
