Finding a theme for WordPress…

I was actually not just trying to find a theme, I was looking for the theme - I have a pretty clear picture how the theme for my blog should look like. And I couldn’t find any to match my expectations. This one (Modernpaper) somehow meets my basic requirements, but I want to change quite a lot of things. So I will probably end up building my own theme based on this one. This will take quite some time because I have to work myself into the “science” of writing WordPress themes - maybe I wait with this project until I get back from Ecuador 
Talking about themes - what I posted about security concerns with plugins applies to themes as well. That’s why WordPress offers Theme Viewer - all themes listed there have been checked for unwanted links, scripts and code. So if you don’t want to read through all the code, you might want to get one from there or from another source you trust. Andrés recently published a great theme called Oaktree - it’s available in Spanish and English

And for your theme… maybe you want to let me know which are the things you would like to find in your own theme and who knows… we might end up developing the ackermann theme together
